How to fix 1001E

Paper Feed (PF) Servo parameter error There may be a case where a voltage exceeding the specified value is about to be applied to the PF motor.

clean encoder strip

Adjust carriage belt

clean inside of the encoder strip sensor

replace encoder strip sensor

replace Paper feed motor

replace motherboard

Clean or replace the encoder wheel or sensor

(the encoder sensor for the wheel will attempt to read it and it will spin forward and then backwards, then error out) This is the most likely cause. Have them inspect the encoder wheel right were the encoder part is for any debris or markings.

Belt may be too tight or loose. This should be looked at if the sensor and encoder wheel seem to be working properly.
